But Mayor Jean Stothert can?t shake the restaurant tax.
Projected to pull in nearly $28 million in 2014?up $5 million in three years?it?s part of her first budget and Stothert admits without it either services would have been slashed or property taxes increased.
So is the tax here to stay and is the mayor in jeopardy of breaking a key campaign promise?
