Russian-born Jewish indie folk rocker Regina Spektor is returning to Israel this summer for a performance on August 24.

The New Yorker previously played two sold out shows at the Barby club in Tel Aviv back in 2007. Spektor?s devout fan base in Israel will be excited to hear that her upcoming summer concert will be at a much larger venue than before ? the Caesarea amphitheater, a refurbished Roman theater dating back to the first century CE.

Spektor is currently promoting her latest album, "What We Saw from the Cheap Seats." Israeli fans should be aware that the CD title does not reflect the ticket prices of the upcoming amphitheater show, with seats selling from $55-84.

The summer concert series also includes stops in Germany, Hungary, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

Spektor, whose famous fans include Barack and Michelle Obama, first hit the scene in 2004 with her album "Soviet Kitsch."
